ADMINISTRATION TEAM
Robin has been the manager at Atlanta West for over 30 years and recently decided to turn over the reins. Robin is still with the practice under a new position because she is getting “old and tired.” This is where she has made her dental home since 1986. Robin’s life has been truly blessed by this family, and she is so happy to be a part of this dynamic dental team.
Robin has been married to the love of her life, “BB,” since 1974 and has two wonderful children. Her son, Jacob, works in property management, and her daughter, Anna Blake, has chosen the dental field and works for a practice in Florida. In her spare time, Robin enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and spending time with her children.
Tonya grew up in Rockmart, GA and graduated as a Dental Assistant in 1995 and went on to get her BBA in 2001. She loves to make people happy and has always had a love for oral hygiene, which is why she chose to work at Atlanta West Dentistry. Her hobbies include reading, kayaking, hiking, going to the beach, and playing with her Yorkiepoo, Toby.
Katie was born in Dallas, GA. After 10 yrs of working with breast cancer patients, she made a career change to dentistry and has fallen in love with it. What she loves most about her job, is connecting with patients and seeing the transformation in patients with their new smiles. In her spare time, she loves swimming and going to the beach. She loves her family and considers her Mom her best friend.
DENTAL HYGIENISTS
Abbie graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007. She has over 10 years of dental experience and has been with Atlanta West since 2015. Abbie’s favorite thing about being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible, even if the dental office isn’t their favorite place.
Abbie married her wonderful husband, Joey, in 2016, and together they have a crazy Doberman named Max. Outside Atlanta West Dentistry, Abbie enjoys working out, reading, going to the beach, and traveling back to Ohio to visit family and friends.
Beth’s love and respect of dentistry began as a child when she had to undergo extensive orthodontic and surgical treatments. While earning her degree in chemistry from Indiana University on the path to dental school, she worked as a dental assistant. It was during that time that Beth realized she was meant to be a dental hygienist, not a dentist. Beth received her dental hygiene degree in 2009 from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne. She loves learning and attending continuing education courses above and beyond the requirements for her state licensure.
Beth wants to see you succeed and your health to improve. She loves to educate and make sure you know and understand everything that is going on with your mouth and how it affects your overall health. Beth resides in Smyrna with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with her girls, baking custom cakes, and of course, exercising off all that food.
Brooke’s dental hygiene career began in 2003. She received her Registered Dental Hygienist degree from West Georgia Technical College. She joined Atlanta West Dentistry in 2013 and quickly came to realize how much this group of professionals truly loves what they do and has a tremendous respect for patients. She is excited to work here and looks forward to being a part of the growth of this great practice. Brooke is a Soft Tissue and Oral Maintenance Care Specialist. Her ability to perform dental hygiene with a gentle touch is unmatched. Brooke has also received special training with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Sam Low Education Foundation.
Brooke lives in Marietta, and she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alexis, as well as physical fitness and traveling. Brooke looks forward to meeting you and providing you with a wonderful dental hygiene experience!
Lisa has been a proud member of the Atlanta West team since 2002. She graduated with honors and her dental hygiene degree in 2006 from Columbus State University. In 2020, she became the first-ever Best Hygienist in Cobb award winner out of the over 400 hygienists in Cobb County. She is proud to provide excellent care to our dental patients as well as work with a stellar dental team. She truly enjoys working at Atlanta West Dentistry and appreciates the high level of trust between the patients, doctors, and staff, which allows the team to provide excellent dentistry in a very comfortable environment. Lisa is specially trained in the latest science of customizing your periodontal care to the way you individually respond to therapy. Her training includes Perio Protect Society and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Lisa has AHA, CPR, and First Aid response certification.
Lisa has been married to her husband, Donny, since 1999, and they have two very fun and active boys, Jacob and Bradley.
DENTAL ASSISTANTS
Jennifer is originally from Akron, Ohio but was raised in Cobb County. During her time at Kennesaw State University, she found Dentistry, fell in love, and decided to change career paths to become a Dental Assistant. She loves working hand in hand with the doctors during procedures to give our patients the smoothest appointments possible. Changing a patient’s self confidence through their smile will never get old-its the best part of the job! In her spare time, she and her boyfriend, Corey, love going to local breweries and trying new local restaurants on the weekends and spending free time with her nieces and nephew any chance she can get.
Kimberly was born in Atlanta and grew up in Powder Springs. She graduated from Hillgrove High school where she attended the accelerated Dental Assisting Academy at AWD. Her favorite part about being a dental assistant is making her patients and coworkers smile and brightening their day. In her freetime, Kimberly enjoys going to the gym, reading and doing yoga, and spending time with her family and cat, Toby.
Natalie is originally from GA, raised in Dallas, and is now located back in GA. She started college at the University of West Georgia, while there, she found her love for dentistry and is now currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College, applying to Dental Hygiene School in Spring of 2022. Natalie loves that dentistry gives her the opportunity to connect with people and help give them a smile they’re proud of. In her free time, she and her boyfriend enjoy backpacking, hiking, and anything outdoors. She is very close with her family and spends a lot of time with her brother and 2 dogs, Bella and Roxie who love the outdoors too.
Nicole has been a dental assistant since 1994. She loves what she does. Right out of high school, she had the opportunity to be introduced into a field where she could meet new people and make a difference in someone’s life by helping them change their smile. She’s excited to work with Dr. Watson and Dr. Cameron, who provide the highest quality of care for their patients. She considers herself fortunate to have become a member of this elite team of dental professionals. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time traveling with her husband and family. She has a passion for cooking and reading.
Roger was born in Phoenix AZ, raised in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Reno, Las Vegas, and settled down in Logandale, GA. He graduated from UNR & UNLV in psychology. Roger has gone on to complete several CE courses to further his Dental Assisting certifications. His favorite part about working in the dental field is interacting with patients and staff. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, cooking, and playing chess & PC games. Roger has been married for 29 years with 4 beautiful children.
Kya’s father was in the Army so as a child she lived in many places such as Germany, Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia. While at OTC, she received her diploma in Dental Assisting and certificates in expanded function. What she loves most about her job is meeting new people, partnering with new procedures, and her teammates. She has been an assistant for 16 years and loves dentistry. When she is not working, she loves singing in the car, reading romance novels, and spending time with her friends and family.
