TMJ treatment starts with an evaluation of you to see in what ways your temporomandibular joint may be healthy or unhealthy. Then coming up with a overall plan. Some plans may take longer than others. In order to restabilize your joint so that your joint, your muscles, and your teeth can function holistically as a healthy and stable system.

Different TMJ treatments involve splint therapy, involve clear aligner therapy, involve restorative dentistry to help position the joint in a healthy, stable position with some of the restorations on your teeth. The good thing about it is it's patient-specific. The fun part about it is we get to study each and every patient individually to see which would be best for each patient. There's a big correlation with these types of treatments and sleep, broadly enough.
