Meet Dr. Bowersox
Dr. Bowersox has been an integral part of the Atlanta West Dentistry team since her very first day with us. She has a deep passion for helping those with dental anxiety or special needs look and feel their very best through gentle yet high-quality dentistry. Just like the rest of our Marietta, GA, team, for Dr. Bowersox, patients are always the priority.

What Does MICOI Mean?
“MICOI” stands for Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This advanced designation is granted to dentists who complete at least 150 hours of continuing dental implant education, demonstrate a history of successful patient results, and receive a letter of recommendation from another ICOI Master or Fellow. Dr. Bowersox is very proud to have earned MICOI status.
She is also currently pursuing fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious distinction held by Dr. Travis Watson, another Atlanta West dentist. When you visit our Marietta, GA, dental office, you’ll be treated by dentists that other dental professionals trust.
A Dental Educator
In addition to treating patients at Atlanta West Dentistry, Dr. Bowersox serves as an assistant clinical instructor at Georgia Regents University. Her work is done in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation, where she educates the next generation of dentists in the latest restorative methodologies.
Committed to Giving Back
All of our dentists love giving back to communities throughout Georgia. Dr. Bowersox volunteers at various events, most frequently with the Georgia Mission of Mercy.

Dr. Bowersox is a big fan of Bulldogs football. She regularly visits Athens to root them on. She also loves to golf, play tennis, and spend time with her friends and family.

Dr. Bowersox focuses on special needs dentistry, general dental care, sedation dentistry, and implant dentistry. She has placed and restored more than 1,000 dental implants throughout her training and career.
